The Craigsteel gelding was coming there on the back of a Galway win, and it wasn't surprising to see a pretty strong level of market confidence behind him, as he seems to be an improving five-year-old. The handicapper is making things more difficult for Steel Wave, but for his supporters hopefully there isn't another Authorative (seemed to benefit from a first-time tongue-strap) in opposition now. Typically for the grade many of them could come into it, and it looks about right to see You Can't Catch Me, Pace And Passion, No Kidding and The Fitz Lady priced up at single figure prices early.
