FormscanBy Gary Carson - and this looks a nice prep race ahead of Cheltenham. The form of her victory over Vroum Vroum Mag at Fairyhouse in December is outstanding in the context of this race. Limini makes her seasonal debut and while there is no doubt she's a smart mare it looks a big ask taking on Apple's Jade on her return. She was a good winner of the mares novice race at Cheltenham last season but had to settle for a minor role when stepped up to Grade One company at Aintree. She was far from disgraced then behind Champion Hurdle prospects Buveur D'air and Petit Mouchoir, however. More disappointing though was her inability to beat stable-mate Whiteout at Punchestown. She is probably better than that but has a bit to prove on her return now.
