Mr Coco Bean (USA), trained by Helen Cuthbert, was late to enter the Parade Ring due to connections having difficulty saddling the gelding.
Just inside the final furlong the winner, Wheres The Crumpet (GB) hung slightly right-handed moving Tiberio Force (GB), placed fourth, off its intended line causing the rider of Mr Coco Bean (USA), placed fifth, to take a check when tightened for room against the rail.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and had not improved the placing of either Wheres The Crumpet (GB) or Tiberio Force (GB).
Following the race, Mark Winn reported that Hot Team (IRE), placed second, hung right-handed.
James Sullivan reported that Mr Coco Bean (USA), placed fifth, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.
