An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving the winner, Sixcor (GB), ridden by Andrew Breslin; Beneficiary (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Ben Curtis; James Watt (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Graham Lee; Canaria Prince (GB), unplaced, ridden by Cam Hardie and The Grey Lass (GB), placed second, ridden by Joanna Mason.
Mason was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as she manoeuvred her mount right-handed for a run when insufficiently clear of Sixcor (GB) causing it to be moved off its intended line, who in turn moved James Watt (IRE) slightly off its intended line and carried Canaria Prince (GB) off its intended line which resulted in Beneficiary (GB) being marginally moved off its intended line.
Following the race, Ben Curtis reported that Beneficiary (GB), placed fifth, hung right-handed throughout.
