Roccia Bella I thought she had a big chance at the Curragh but she wouldn’t go into the stalls but she went in perfectly today. It was her first run in a handicap, and Gary (Halpin) said the ground was as testing as she would want it. The quicker she goes the better her action is, and he said she was bone idle. Hopefully she should be able to win again. She has the ability it’s just trying to eke it out of her.

Hamley She wasn't running at 9.50am yesterday morning to be honest but we saw there wasn't a huge field and I rang Kevin O'Ryan (jockeys' agent) and he said there's a chance of it cutting up so we said we'd let her take her chance. I was worried about the ground but it dried out all week and it's great. The plan is to go to the Curragh on Champions Weekend; she always runs well at the Curragh and will definitely get in now. She's an ideal filly for her syndicate and she always runs a good race for them.

Rockabill He's been a slow learner and he's toughed it out. We liked him early on and then he had us scratching our heads. He's started to progress like a typical Fastnet Rock, and that was even a huge step up from his last run. We think he'll stay a bit further, and he's a nice colt.

Turret Rocks She was very good and she got some super assistance from the saddle. She wasn't going to give it away anyway,. After that we'll probably keep her to a mile-and-a-quarter or less. Probably the best mile-and-a-quarter race to come is at Longchamp on Arc day (Prix de l'Opéra) but the only problem with that is she doesn't like soft ground so we have to be careful. She might get an invite to Hong Kong after that and I'll have to take out my passport again. Herself and Cimeara are closely related. She is out of a full-sister to Cimeara's dam and both those mares are by Galileo which doesn't stop them either.

Emperor Waltz . He needs a good trip and we'll look for somewhere without firm in it and see what the handicapper does with him. . Today was Daniel's first time riding for us and he was third in the first race and gave that horse a lovely ride so we can't complain. representing

Queen Rabab She is a well-bred filly and that’s the second race she’s after winning. She might go to the sales at the end of the year. Her brother (Blonde Warrior) by Zoffany won a two-year-old maiden the other day for Hugo Palmer and he cost 210,000 as a yearling. She also has a brother that won a Listed race in Australia. The blinkers sparked her up as she doesn’t kill herself.

Tissiak It's been a great evening, and we thought she was probably our best chance. She is a beautiful filly and had two very good runs. She has a fantastic pedigree, and will probably step up to a Stakes race now. She is in the Irish Oaks and we will probably work back from there now. Donnacha said he was going so easy that he thought it was going to turn into a sprint and he put her in gear. All of a sudden she took off on him and he had to stay going. I don't think he's ridden her before so he'll know her now for the next day.

Turret Rocks We'll keep her well entered up and hopefully there are some good days in her still,. She's entered at Royal Ascot and then we have Derby weekend after that where we could have a look at the Pretty Polly. I'd prefer a mile-and-a-half for her though.

Merchant Navy You'd be delighted with him obviously. We felt he was just ready to come and the whole reason for running him was to see before we went to Ascot. We felt that he was at a racecourse gallop stage. The lads in Australia said he was a very good horse so we just took it totally on trust. He did five little canters, that's all he did. Ryan was very happy with him. The plan is to go to Ascot for the six furlong race and I think he has to go after that. I think he's only here for Ascot and then gone after that, whatever commitments he has. I thought there would be a lot of improvement in him. I was just hoping for a nice run today, that's all, so it's all a plus. He wasn't stopping today but he's obviously not short of speed either. He made a good bit of ground up from halfway and Ryan was riding him that way because we were afraid he would get tired.

Emperor Waltz He (Emperor Waltz) seems to love it around here and got his ground. He'll go for another long distance handicap now and will jump a hurdle again in the summer - he didn't like the ground when he ran over hurdles last December. Nelson Road also ran a cracker and our horses are coming into a bit of better form.
