Nibblers Charm We were very disappointed with him the last day when we put a hood on him and he completely switched off and never travelled. Ryan (Treacy, jockey then) thought he flipped his palate coming down the straight so we said we'd stick the tongue-tie on him and ride him up with the pace. Donie (McInerney) said he was falling asleep racing down the back straight and had to give him a smack but hopefully that might buck him up now. He needs to grow up a bit, we'll keep him on the go and we'll look to go back to Listowel for a race there in September.

Celtic Dancer He’s been a good little servant and never jumped as well as he did this evening. He’s always been a poor jumper but he jumped super there and it made the difference. If he jumps as well as he did this evening he could win again. He definitely seems to jump the Easifix Hurdles better than the traditional hurdles. The extra two furlongs made an awful difference to him and he probably would stay further. I’d be more inclined to be going up in distance than back with him. He’s not a horse that you can run every week. He won’t run for three or four weeks now, and he could go to Killarney.

Celtic Dancer I thought he was done on the photo but it seems to favour this side. He gave him a fine ride - he's a lovely horse but he's not the best jumper in the world. He tends to make mistakes when you really need to keep him in his race but seems to jump the Easyfix hurdles better than the traditional ones. He is progressive and he's entered at Killarney on Thursday and we'll have a look at that.

Bective Cave He looked beat and Paul gave him a great ride. I said to Pat (Keating) today that if he was going to win again it would be today. He's in good form, the ground suited him and he's won here before. He was back down to a mark that he was capable of winning off as well.

Plan Of Attack He probably wasn’t as good as he was in Clonmel, and Barry thought he didn’t travel and jump as well. He’s been in quite a while and only had a short break around Christmas so we might back off him now. There is not many staying novice chases anyhow so we might back off him until October. There is a nice staying novice in Cheltenham then so we might look at that.

Dasmyhoss He’s a lovely horse and Robbie bought him for the owners and won a bumper with him in Tramore. He was just behind Le Richebourg on his first run in a bumper but they have gone slightly separate ways since!. He’s a lovely horse and hopefully there will be another one of those in him. He’ll jump a fence and also finished second at the Curragh last year so there are plenty of options for him. He likes a bit of nice ground so we’ll keep kicking on with him.

Stoughan Cross I was hopeful but he’s a horse we’ve had a lot of trouble with, and Jim (Nevin, owner) has shown fantastic patience and really stood by him. I was ready to give up on him a number of times,.

The Holy One He drifted out a bit but Paddy said that if he had pulled his stick through he would have hit the other horse,. He battled well and I'm delighted with him. I don't know if the ground was just a bit too sticky for him or what happened in Limerick last time. He loves that good ground and he'll head on to Punchestown now.
