Rewritetherules I was in three minds about coming here as after Down Royal I said if he was okay he'd run here. I gave the horse a blow at home this morning to make sure he wasn't dead in himself and he felt great. He was very unlucky not to win two point-to'points when he fell and that's why I bought him. He is a promising horse. He needs to learn to switch off, he's 17 hands and I'd rather if the fences were in it down the back straight today. He is a good replacement for Hidden Cyclone and he'll either run in the Stratford hunters chase or the other hunter chase at Listowel next.

Rewritetherules He's a 17hh horse. I ran him in a bumper in Gowran and I thought he couldn't get beaten - I ran him the wrong way, I made the running and they all took him on. He came out of Donnachadh Doyle's, a great yard to buy a horse out of. I rang Donnachadh before the race and I said to him 'I'm gonna drop this fellow last' and he said that was the thing to do with him. That's the first day with the hood, he's just a very free-going horse but I love him the whole time at home. He's doing everything right. It was a very competitive race. He'd stay three miles every day of the week. He's in again on Thursday but we'll see how we come out of the race, he might run again on Thursday in Tipperary. He's a good ground horse and he's a gorgeous horse. He's a staying chaser and the good thing about him is that you can drop him out. He's a proper horse. The owner Dan O'Rourke is from Naas. That's the second horse they have with me now.

Polished Steel it’s been a lucky race for me. He (Polished Steel) was always going to come here and had a break before Fairyhouse. He stood off too far at the second hurdle there, made a terrible mistake and then never jumped another hurdle. We decided today to change the tactics if he would settle and we put ear plugs on which helped him settle in front. He likes a bit of nice ground. He can cope with soft ground but not heavy. He’ll probably go for a mile and a half or mile and three quarters race on the Flat next.

Our Jerry He had his issues but there are a lot of people who love this horse. He'll be a great fun horse and it's great to have Charlotte (Younghusband), George (Pappadakis) and James (Noble) as new owners in the yard and hopefully he will be able to give them more fun,. I have nine riding out at the moment, they are a complete mixed bunch and that's my first jumps winner - I trained Maarek when he won a Group 2 at York in 2014.

Black Tears I thought she would do that the last day but thankfully she’s got her head in front today. She’ll go now for the Mares Novice Hurdle (at Cheltenham). She’s got good bumper form and has some experience now so she’ll be okay.
