Sneaky Getaway we were glad we had Patrick for a race like that. He wasn’t tied down to any instructions, they went a good gallop and Patrick was confident enough to keep a hold of him and it paid off, as Patrick and Jamie (Codd on Chosen Mate) were the only two travelling off the home bend. We’re delighted with that, and he’s won three races now since Easter. He’s achieved a lot more than our wildest dreams. He may go to Galway and we’ll see what the (flat) handicapper does with him. I don’t think he’ll go hurdling just yet.

Cailean's Angel I train in Conna, right beside Jimmy Mangan and Liam Burke. I use their gallops so I'd like to thank them,. The last winner I had on the track was for the same owners, Backinthere. The Sheehans are a great family to me, they are builders from Ballyduff, and only for them I'd be nearly retired. I mostly break horses but this year I had a handful to run. I had a point-to-point winner that made £155,000. She's consistent, she's been running in good races and hasn't been beaten too far. The last day was a great run in Clonmel. I said coming up 'was I coming to the wrong place' because she ran well in Clonmel. Darragh is a good claimer and he's not far away from me at home. She's in at Roscommon on Tuesday but I don't know about that. She might go to our local track at Mallow on Friday night. We are waiting for this for a long time and we might celebrate!

Domitian I'm not sure if they will keep her on the go or give her a break. Lisa said she put her stick down near the line and won snug enough. She was unlucky the last day so it was nice to get her head in front.

Sneaky Getaway thankfully it all went to plan. He is a nice horse to look forward to and it was great to get a winners bumper out of him. Hopefully we will have a good summer ahead of us with him. Patrick said he improved again since he rode him in Clonmel and he might even go for a little Flat race now, a qualified riders maiden in Leopardstown or something.

Celine Soprano She is named after the singer Celine Byrne. I saw her in the Opera House in Cork and she was absolutely brilliant. You wouldn't think I'd be a fan of Madam Butterfly!. I only have three in at the moment, it's very hard to take on the big boys. We run Naturally Blond in Tipperary tomorrow.

Tiantu I was hopeful that he would go close in a beginners that was for horses rated 0-102 over hurdles. I was a bit worried about the trip but he stayed at it well. He seems to be after improving a good bit since going over fences.

Musical Slave I'm delighted. He stayed on very well. I was a bit concerned that the lack of pace might not be in our favour but in the end he kept going very well,. Jonjo was very good. He said he got in a little bit of trouble once or twice but with all those runners you'll always get a little bit. It was probably the right thing to bring him to the outside in the end and he stayed on well. I presume he's finished for the season and he'll have a good summer off. He wouldn't be wanting fast ground anyway, that wouldn't be his job. He was entered at Sandown on Friday in a 100,000 pound race but we wouldn't have been running on fast ground and that's why he came here. He can go chasing at any stage, he jumps very well, and that will be his long term job but when that will be I'm not sure.

Sneaky Getaway He is a very straightforward horse and we learned wisely from Danny Mullins earlier in the day when he exploited a nicer bit of ground on the outside. It worked the oracle as the first two home raced out wide the whole way around. The run under our belt was a huge advantage and he'll be a nice horse for the summer. He'll progress and might get an entry at Punchestown but it might be a bit quick. He is definitely a nice horse for a winners' bumper and is by the right sire in Getaway.

Fire Away He is a grand horse. I think the ground got him beaten at Punchestown and I can't really understand what happened to him at Limerick (when a well-beaten sixth). I thought he would do what he did today in Limerick. Like all of my horses he is for sale.

Thosedaysaregone I'm delighted with the way he jumped. He was a good jumper of hurdles and took to it (fences) today,. I only started schooling him over fences two weeks ago but he really took to it straightaway. Ground doesn't seem to bother him either way.
