That was a little bit of a surprise. I thought she might need the run. I haven't overworked her because last season she wasn't the strongest. In fairness to Gerard(Berkery, owner) he sent her back this season looking very strong. They went very hard there, we kind of thought that they would, especially with ground the way it's changing. We planned to let her take her time and get a second wind if she needed it. That's exactly what Alan done and 5lb off her back was a bit help to help. She loves this ground. We were very close to going straight chasing with her this year only the ground was too dry so we didn't get any schooling into her. We said we'd give her the run over hurdles and go from there. We'll see what the handicapper does now. We might have the option of going for another hurdle or if not she'll go chasing.

She ran well in maidens but then disappointed and she's not the most straightforward filly to train. She has her issues, but when things are right, she's right. . I thought dropping back in grade today to a 0 to 100 that it would have to give her a chance and I didn't mind not claiming off of her for that reason. . I actually have to apologise to Alex Harvey because I was sure he was in Galway. Alex normally rides her but I put down Sean as he rides out at home as well. It was my fault, but Alex will be on her another day. . She's out of this grade now but she'll go for something similar and I hope the ground doesn't get too soft. . Gerard Berkery is from Tipperary but he had a horse at home I'd say around 15 years ago. We knew him from before and he rang me back at the start of the season asking would we take this filly. . It's great that it has worked out and she will go breeding eventually. Hopefully we can get another win into her.
