Adam got chinned on the line with Saltonstall this year in the Lincoln, so that was a good reward for him, he gave him a great ride,. He probably ran a little free the last day, on Irish Champions Weekend, and we just said we'd hold on to him a little bit longer and come with one run. He loves the ground as well. He was in great nick, we hadn't worked him since he ran the last day but I knew at home in was in good old form. He's been running solid all year, once he gets his ground. It's great for him to get a pot. There is a race in York for him in the middle of October, which he was second in a couple of years ago. He'll probably go back there as there should be juice in the ground. I've won this Joe McGrath a few times with Bubbly Bellini and Toufan Express. Unfortunately we got 50 or 60 odd thousand then and the prize-money is well down now. You'd be a bit disappointed and a few of these premier handicaps have been slipping down. These races aren't easy to win and you usually only win one a year with a horse like this. They are good horses and they should be well able to pay for themselves. Adrian McGuinness

After race at Curragh Sun, 16th Mar, 2025 (1st)  He’s a marvellous horse and we knew there was plenty of life left in him. He’s dropped to a career low mark, and we had him ready today. We always use that Dundalk race as a nice prep run to blow off the cobwebs and its better than three bits of work really. Stephen Thorne

After race at Naas Mon, 29th Apr, 2024 (1st)  He wasn’t winning out of turn! He’s been very consistent. I thought the ground might have gone for him today, but it’s just beautiful ground. We’ve been running him over five but he’s a better horse over six. He stays at it well and long-term he’ll probably end up down in the west (Galway Festival) for the seven (furlong handicap) on the Sunday. He’s been a great servant and it’s great to get his head in front for all the boys. There is a huge crowd of them here today. I won’t be afraid to try seven with him at the right track where the horses are coming back to him. Adrian McGuinness

After race at Curragh Sat, 25th Mar, 2023 (1st)  He was 7lb lower than last year and he loves the ground, he won a listed race before on soft ground. Unfortunately we don't get a whole pile of soft ground anymore, as much as we'd like. He's a great horse and the boys have had great fun with him. He'll run in all the big sprint handicaps for the rest of the year and hopefully we get another one before the year is out. He ploughed through it and battled well, we'll tip away with him and see what happens. It's great to start off the year on a nice note. Adrian McGuinness

After race at Cork Sat, 3rd Apr, 2021 (1st)  we were running this lad in Premier Handicaps and his work at home was very very good and we said we'd bite the bullet this year and go back to Listed races. He is a good horse and has been galloping with Harry's Bar (stablemate). He had Group form before we got him and had solid form. He is a little hyper but was on song today and I'm blessed that I have a good bunch of horses. Gavin (Ryan) said it rode a really good race and he picked up and put the race to bed in a matter of strides. I'd say his handicapping days are over now and he'll stay in Stakes races and we have plenty of options for him. Adrian McGuinness
