Andy Slattery unleashed another smart prospect in the concluding Monami Construction INH Flat Race, with his Gomez Addams trouncing 18 rivals in this extended two-mile heat.
Available at 20/1 in early shows for this four-year-old only contest, the Hillstar debutant went as short as 4/1, before eventually going off an 11/2 chance.
Owned and bred by Pat Morrissey and racing mainly in mid-division on the outer, he made smooth headway approaching the straight.
Getting to the front with over a furlong to go, he was soon ridden and quickly shot clear, ultimately coming home six-and-a-half lengths to the good.

Returned a well-backed 5/2 favourite (from 12s early), I'm A Rocket Man faded tamely approaching the straight and finished a well-beaten fourteenth.
"We expected it. He's been working with the horse (Gameball) that won in Ballinrobe the other day," Slattery reflected.
"We thought the ground might be a bit quick. That was the only worry as he's a big horse and would be better on softer ground. He has an engine.
"I only have him about six weeks and he has done nothing but improve and impress in every gallop.
"His half-brother, Parnell Street, runs here on Thursday and he has a chance as well. He was second on his only start last season at Fairyhouse."
