Waterlogged Nottingham abandoned Tomorrow`s meeting at Nottingham has been abandoned due to waterlogging, clerk of the course Charlie Moore announced today.The stewards were due to inspect the course at 10.00 this morning but after further torrential rain the officials were left with no choice but to call the meeting off.Moore said: 'We`ve just shot tomorrow`s card.'Since it starting raining last Sunday we`ve had 56mm of rain and it is still raining. Since 6.00 this morning we`ve had 5mm of rain and we are waterlogged in a few places.'I just hope it stops and we have half a chance for Saturday`s meeting. We will inspect at 10.00am on Friday.'
