Formscan - A point-to-point winner before backing it up with a NH Flat race brace, DALSTON LAD was pitched into the Champion Bumper. He understandably came up short there, and also flopped on his hurdling debut on his Cheltenham comeback, but that outing has hopefully taken the fizz out of him and he can make amends. Gillespie made the frame, albeit beaten a fair way, at Chepstow and should step forward. Matty's Getaway and Quay Item are worth a look too.
