Formscan By Gary Carson - GOT THE HONOURS (3) may be worth siding with here on his ‘track’ debut. The Crystal Ocean gelding was an easy winner of a point-to-point at Ballysteen back in April and joined Gavin Cromwell subsequently. This doesn’t look like the hottest event for his first start over hurdles. Reckless ran five times last winter and his best effort was when chasing home stablemate Spinningayarn at Fairyhouse. He was well held in second that day though and overall his form doesn’t look anything special. Wartime Leader had some strong bumper form early on and had one spin over hurdles at Thurles, just over a year ago. He’s one to note on his first outing for Ray Hackett.
