Formscan - QUEEN MAEVE was the surprise winner of a premier handicap at Sandown, but that was her handicap debut and gave a strong indication that she could be progressive in races of this nature, especially with this representing a significant drop in class. Hornica has undergone wind surgery since her win at Stratford in April and is an appealing option on her return. Donald McCain won this in 2021 and his Iamyouare also captures the imagination after cosily winning a novice event at Southwell.
