She's been knocking on the door. Her one poor run, I suppose, was at Cork the first day but you'd forgive her as it was very heavy ground,. I thought the ground might come against her today but Shane said she got it easy enough in front. She had the form in the book to win one of these and it's great to get it done. She didn't do much wrong today and she handles better ground as well. She has options going forward. The owners are delighted and it's nice to see people getting a thrill out of winning. She's a home-bred and it's important to them. She's actually in foal to Ruler Of The World. She'll probably have one or two more races and then go to the paddocks. If she does no more it's job done. The Stewards fined R.P. McNamara, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Nice To Sea, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
