A Snow White Park (IRE)

Mags (Mullins, trainer) was trying to box clever. We thought she’d win the maiden hurdle and she’s eligible for the Red Mills, which is a lot more prize-money, so we thought we’d sneak around here. She didn’t realise when I’m riding I don’t hold back if it’s there!. We liked her going for a point-to-point and John Gleeson thought he was running a nice race the day she fell at the second last. It surprised me how good she was there. To beat Last Kingdom like that, on ratings it puts it as a fair performance. She was great, one run in a point-to-point and her first run over hurdles here at speed on good ground. There is a lot to like about her and convincing Mags to hold on to her now is the next thing. A good jump at the last put me a few lengths clear and I got over to the rail. On such an inexperienced filly it was vital to have that. You can’t pick up the stick and go hard at those ones, it’s rhythm and gallop forward is what they need and she did it well. We could try and qualify her for the Red Mills final next year. It won’t be a maiden, it’ll be a novice that will need to get her into that. It was a good performance. We always liked her, a smart four-year-old, and she’s shown us that and more tonight.
Ms Margaret Mullins
