Downpatrick Sat, 13th Jun, 2026  Fr Gilligansvoyge He was pulling like hell today, he's a bit of an oul rogue and you never know what he is going to do. He's like an old pet and we love him. This will definitely be his last year; we are saying that every year! You couldn't retire him the form he is in, though. I see two horses I sold are after winning in Hexham in the last hour or so.

Punchestown Sat, 6th Jun, 2026  Switch From Diesel She’s a lovely filly to have,. The plan after winning her maiden hurdle was to come back here. At this time of year you are trying to pick your tracks and pick your ground, and the ground was beautiful. She’s progressive and we’ll mix it between Flat and jumps. We'll maybe see if there is both a good Flat handicap in her and a good jumping handicap in her. It’s a nice stepping stone again and she’ll probably keep going while the ground is safe. She’s enjoying it. That wasn’t too tough on her, it was like a bit of work. Hopefully she can keep heading in the right direction.

Punchestown Sat, 6th Jun, 2026  Switch From Diesel He was a bit unlucky the last day in Kilbeggan, it just didn’t work out for him on the night. He’s improved again and he’s a big raw horse, a fine-looking horse. It’s great for the Devine family because they bred him, it makes it even more special as he’s like a member of the family. Geraldine and Nick are delighted. He’s a horse that should keep improving and he’ll have no problem jumping a fence. Ricky said he’s raw, he’s on it and off it, and I’d imagine there is plenty more improvement in him. He won well, handles a bit of nice ground, so we’ll pick our tracks and keep going.

Tramore Fri, 29th May, 2026  Zolpharine It wasn’t before time that he got going, he won his maiden hurdle first time,. He had a good run in a bumper here as well, when he was second to one of Willie Mullins’ (Caman Eileen). I don’t know if he’ll run again tomorrow, we’ll see. It might be a bit soon. He’s a grand horse for the summer. He’s a smasher. It took us so long to get him right, he got a fall schooling after he won his maiden hurdle. There was lots of chiropractory. Mark Slevin did a great job, we fired his palate and tidied him up as best we could. He looks progressive now, even though he’s an eight-year-old. If we pulled him out tomorrow he could win again!. He’s way better over fences, he’s tricky over hurdles but he’s putting it together now.

Limerick Thu, 21st May, 2026  Zolpharine He is Fairyhill Run's (five-time-winning stablemate) half-brother and is a cracking little horse, but it has taken him a while to win for a second time. He had four 'seconds' last year, so hopefully he might go forward and win a few now. He will keep going through the summer.

Wexford Sat, 16th May, 2026  The Besty Woman I’m delighted for the syndicate as it’s their first horse with us and Conor Hayes recommended the mare to them. John (Gleeson) gave her a super ride and she’s a lovely mare, so there is plenty to look forward to with her. She was made favourite in the end but she had to go and do it and I thought she stuck at it well. I thought John was very positive on her. We’ll give her a break now but we’ll have her back earlier as she definitely prefers a bit of nice ground. She’ll go hurdling, she’s already had a couple of nice runs over hurdles.

I wanted to get another run into him before Cheltenham but they called off Lisronagh. It was kind of my fault that he wasn’t ready enough. He won well in Dromahane last time and Rob gave him a lovely ride there. He’s a funny old horse, he likes plenty of room and light. It probably suits him better here. He was great there again today. Its On The Line is a hard horse to beat but he managed it. They are two brilliant horses and it’s great that they keep fighting it out and coming back. He loves nice ground and he’ll probably go to Stratford now.

Punchestown Sun, 15th Feb, 2026  Pure Steel He struck the third last here the last day and they were gone then. Mark said there was no point then as he wouldn’t get to them. He was a different horse today. It was a grand, handy, little field today. Mark said he handled that ground. I think he’s a nice horse. He’ll win a lot of races and he jumps well. It wasn’t a bad race but you have to go out and do it. I don’t know where we’ll go next but hopefully Fairyhouse for the WillowWarm or back here.
