It's the first time with the ground and the way the race was run that everything just panned out for him,. He got hampered one year in the Land Rover bumper, he finished seventh, and wasn’t beaten that far but then he had loads of trouble after that. He wanted soft ground and Barry thinks he could be smart. The last day was a three furlong sprint. The winner won snug but the race wasn't run to suit him. I'm hoping he'll kick on from here now and stay sound. We'll see what will happen but he could possibly go for a winners bumper. Paul Nolan, trainer
