Bravo Team stamped his authority all over the Fethard Maiden Hurdle in Clonmel.

The 2/5 favourite was content to stalk Time To Bite and breezed past that rival with a quarter of a mile to travel.

A good jump two out saw him increase his advantage over Gargouille who had made good headway before that flight.

The leader was clear at the last and strolled in by eight lengths for Gordon Elliott.

Gargouille picked up a runner-up reward at 33/1 and was some seven and a half lengths clear of Prince Zaltar (7/2 from a morning price of 8/1).

Jockey Jack Kennedy said: "It was very straightforward, he jumped well and travelled well throughout the race. It was a moderate race but did it as well as you'd like.

"He had a good run in Naas the last day and I think he'll be a bit better on better ground."

Bravo Team finished fifth in a big field maiden hurdle at Naas in February.
