The winner, Flash Rascal (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Nottingham on 23 October 2025, where the gelding finished tenth of twelve runners, beaten 17 lengths.
Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole’s representative’s explanation that the gelding had appreciated the change to the all-weather, was noted.

Following the race, Jack Callan reported that Solar Invincible (IRE), placed fourth, hung badly left- handed in the home straight.
