Galway Fri, 29th Jul, 2022  Willamette Valley it was very important, being a Galileo filly, to get that winning bracket with her. We'll see where connections want to go next but she loves that soft ground and we'll think about looking for black-type. She is very stoutly bred, loved that stamina test and that distance (1m4f) is the minimum for her. She is very game.

Galway Fri, 29th Jul, 2022  Roman Hands he is an improved horse, seems to thrive and was tough. As soon as the horse came to him he wanted to battle and he keeps improving. We'll take baby steps now. It is great for Champion Thoroughbreds who are a big Australian racing syndicate who also have another two year old with us.

Galway Mon, 25th Jul, 2022  Irish Lullaby She didn't like the track very much but when she got to the rising ground she put her head down and is a tough lady. It was a big ask (under her 7lb Killarney penalty) for a three-year-old and she has come a long way but is a great stayer. We might go looking for black-type now.

Galway Mon, 25th Jul, 2022  Dairerin he (Dairerin) has been amazing since we have got the handle on him. We'll probably run him again on Wednesday over a similar trip. It is fantastic and I'm delighted for the lads involved.

Galway Mon, 25th Jul, 2022  Pivotal Trigger The plan was to jump out and make the running and he got it fairly easy in front. We knew he would stay and knew he would love that ease in the ground. He (Foley) said he got going early but coming around the corner, looked around and is still learning. He probably even needs 1m2f now and will stay well and is out of a mare who stayed well. He might be a horse for the Eyrefield Stakes at Leopardstown at the end of the year.

Curragh Sat, 16th Jul, 2022  Benitoite She was unlucky here last year as a two-year-old and it's just taken a while to get her right, she's quite a big filly. She's done that very well,. The more traffic problems she got into the better she was. I'm absolutely delighted and it's great for Mr Zhang to have a day like this, to win a classic and then win with this filly. She has a beautiful pedigree so to win her maiden was very important. We don't have her in anything, if we could win a Listed race or get black-type with her it would be job done. She's a gorgeous filly and we've always loved her but she's been a bit fragile. We've been very patient with her and it's borne fruit today.

Curragh Sat, 16th Jul, 2022  Magical Lagoon It's wonderful to win one classic, to get two is absolutely amazing,. She's such a game filly, she only does as much as she has to do. She's just a lovely filly to train for Mr Zhang. I kept looking at what was behind her but I knew she'd keep staying, she stayed very well in Ascot. They probably didn't go as quick as they did in Ascot and she just ran a great race. Shane was in the right position and kept going forward. He rode a super race and she kept finding and finding. t's only her third run this year and I'd say she'll improve again. She's in the Yorkshire Oaks and after that I haven't really made a decision. I'd love to keep her in training next year. I hope so because Galileos improve and her brother was a much better four-year-old than three-year-old.

Navan Sat, 9th Jul, 2022  Supagirl She was very good. Unfortunately, in Down Royal (finished seventh) the ground had gone on her.
