Down Royal Sat, 21st Jun, 2025  Billie Frechette She travelled really well. I always thought she was capable of being better than she was, so I suppose that is a little bit more like it. She has been consistent, she had one bad run in Navan, but other than that she is running consistently. She stays further and she jumps, she has won twice on the level. Hopefully, she will win again. Billy was always travelling well and it was easy for her then because he was always travelling so well. She got into a great rhythm and he said she travelled into it really easily.

Punchestown Sun, 8th Jun, 2025  Mick Collins I’ve been disappointed with him, not today obviously, but his run in Cork and I thought he was a better horse than even this. We decided we’d let him bowl along and he’s battled well from the last. He’s a big, raw horse and has won now on the Flat and over hurdles. I hope he’ll improve.

Down Royal Fri, 30th May, 2025  Eric Lock It is a long time coming. I'd say seven (furlongs) is just pushing it - five is too short and I'd say six is about right. He had a couple of quick runs and we gave him a little break. Hopefully now that he has got his head in front, maybe he will go on and win again somewhere. He (handicapper) can't put him up too much anyway.

Ballinrobe Mon, 26th May, 2025  Jesse Evans he was well in at the weights so my only little worry was that we were coming back from fences and it was quick enough too since Killarney. I’m delighted for him because he’s after having a couple of tough races: it’s lovely to get an easy one like that. He’ll probably go back to Galway but he won’t go for the Hurdle and I don’t think he’ll go for the Plate either as I think it’s too far for him, and he’s gone up in the weights as well. He’s a lovely horse and the Grimes Hurdle in Tipperary might be worth looking at. The boys (Singleton family, owners) are from Cork and we (County Meath) beat Cork the other day so there was a bit of banter!
