He's a very good horse. He's just so much better around a bend and on the all-weather,. I know he ran really well in Dubai, when he was beaten a couple of short-heads on the opening night. He got a stone bruise two weeks after that and we were on the back foot over there. I was delighted with his first run and he could be a horse for the dirt there next year. He's a 100 plus horse now. We didn't chance him this year. We'll go back to Lingfield now and it could suit him well. Kachy will be hard to beat but you can't be afraid of one horse. He seems to see out this trip well now and we'll give it a go, it's 180,000 pound race. He'll run in the big handicaps throughout the year but I think long term he could be a horse for the dirt in Meydan next year and we'll have to train him for it. I didn't want to step off the plane this year and go changing our plan to do it. He's smart out of the gates, he travels and he's a big powerful horse. He's getting the trip well, he travels and he stays well now. He seems to relax a bit better these days.
David Marnane
he’s a big strong horse and is turning into a good sprinter. I was worried tonight about the headwind and not a lot of horses are doing what he did and finishing off. He’s becoming more professional and we’ll see what the handicapper does with him. He wasn’t invited for Dubai but he’s qualified for the dirt there now. Lingfield is there as well and there is a Fast Track Qualifier in Newcastle so his options are open.
David Marnane
He's straightforward. It was a good performance, he'll go back for the Scurry (Handicap at the Curragh). We were going to bring him straight for the Scurry but I felt that it was a good pot here and worth coming up for. He'll have a 6lb penalty in the Scurry but he has a few quid in the bank. He is still improving and he is probably improving because he has gone more professional. He seems to be doing things where he used to be free, now he's doing what he is supposed to do. He's a nice horse and I think he is equally as effective on the turf. The run in the Rockingham was a very good one, it was a very strong race and a few winners have come out of it already.
David Marnane
He's always had the potential to be a nice horse. He did well to do what he did up at Dundalk as a three-year-old,.
David Marnane
He's a lovely horse. We were going to send him to the Horses In Training Sale but we just felt there were a few good opportunities here over the winter. There is a 25 grand handicap over six here in four weeks time that he will come back for,. For a three-year-old to do that is pretty good. He's been a bit free going like a lot of sprinters and we spent that much time getting him relaxed that we had to change it up a bit. We needed to make a bit more use of him as he has a huge stride. I think he's grown up now.
David Marnane
He's improving and I'd say it wasn’t a bad race. He's a nice horse. He's not doing things properly yet but he's getting there and improving with the runs,.
David Marnane
