She was a little bit keen and she will have learned a lot from it. She will be a nice mare over hurdles. I think she had enough of the flat, she was disappointing in Ballinrobe but conditions were bad there. Paul Townend won the Galway Hurdle for me on Indian Pace (2008) when he was starting off, so we go back a long way. She will be a nice mare in novice hurdles now. She might go to Galway, we'll see.

She ran well at the Curragh on Saturday and was due to go up 2lbs but we got away with that today. She needs good ground and please God she will get another,” . I've a long association with her owner (Mrs Ranka Pollmeier) going back 25 or 30 years and Black Queen won the Galway Hurdle for us in 1998.

We needed to be patient with her. She is probably better over a mile and a half than she was over two. She didn't quite get two. She has kept on improving. She was a little bit unlucky at Tipperary, she didn't jump out of the stalls. Hopefully she can keep creeping up the handicap.
