That was great. He loves that really good ground. He was probably well handicapped over hurdles on what he has done over fences and we always thought there was a hurdle race in him. He has a good high cruising speed and needs to come with one run. He held on to him which suited and Conor gave him a very good ride. He'll go back over fences and we'll look for something on good ground. He's a nice one to have.
Ms Sandra Hughes
it's nice to have one on a big day and Dad really fancied him for the Midlands National but he broke down [in 2014].
Ms Sandra Hughes
It's nice to win a hurdle race with him. He went up a couple of pounds. He's a real top of the ground horse. Considering he pulled so hard he did well to win. He needs a better gallop. He'll go chasing the next day. We thought there was a hurdle race off his mark and there just about was. We'll keep him chasing now.
D T Hughes
He loves that quick ground. It was a bit quicker than it was at Fairyhouse the last day.
D T Hughes
Knockanarrigan is a lovely horse and, given the way he jumps, that's his game more than hurdling. He did everything right but ran a bit free today; if he settled he'd have done it better.
