Having been amongst the winners earlier in the afternoon, local trainer Michael Mulvany doubled up as Boyne Valley stayed on late under Wesley Joyce to win Div ll of the Racing Again 22nd October Handicap at Navan. Wed 08th Oct

I’m very happy with him. He was placed last year and I thought the cheekpieces might work,. He didn’t like Dundalk so we just kept him for the turf. Hopefully he’ll win another one, I’m delighted to get that. . We had three winners in Dundalk and that’s our first on the grass. We only have half a dozen to run and hopefully we can get more. . He won’t go up much for that. I think there is a 0-60 in Cork for him and we’ll see how he is.
