That was great. We gave him a little break after Killarney and he obviously done well for it,. I thought he had a place chance coming here, I thought the handicapper had had his say. In fairness he's after improving with the break. The owners (Lucky Seven Syndicate) are all local enough and as you can see they are all delighted. It's a great initiative this syndicates race. He's only a handy little horse but he's been a great servant. I bought him at the August sale last year and he only cost €3,000. Peaches And Cream came from the same sale and I only gave €1,200 for him. Both are by Salutino who wouldn't be that well known.

I had to run the two of them under a penalty as they were going up so much. It was a game performance as I thought he was going to be beaten and he had to dig deep. It’s going to be hard for both of them after this but they were both cheap horses out of the August Sale last year, and hopefully they might win again somewhere.
