I train him for my mother Marie. It took him a while to get his jumping right. He is not over big but has a bit of class and that came through in the end.

Its funny how things turn around as he fell in this race last year when it looked like he'd win. I hope the soft ground will not have taken too much out of him as he'll line up for the Hattons Grace at Fairyhouse in three weeks. I'm surprised he ran as well as he did coming off a break. The favourite falling obviously made it easier but Paul felt he had the winning of the race anyway,.

Big Bucks will hardly be shaking in his boots! We have that under our belts now anyway. He could go for the Long Walk, but that could be a long walk and we mightn't go there. We'll keep to him around three miles for the rest of the season. He got a great ride (from Davy Russell) and fair play to the horse, he stuck his head well out at the end. It was a three way finish so he'd have to improve a lot more, maybe another seven or eight pounds to win another big race like that. Maybe he could do that. He is a lot better this year than he was last year. I was glad he could do that because he is not the biggest horse in the world. He might have to go chasing next year if he doesn't match up with the big boys later on.

He needs a lead and the fact that Clicksnmortar went on, that's what he wants,. He had to make his own pace at Navan and that's what beat him. It was also his second run today and he was fit. He won handy but Ruby was very good as usual. We'll see if there is another race like this or a staying hurdle. I had novice chasing in my head but I don't know now after that. It's probably up in the air.
Thomas Mullins
We should give half the prize money to Ruby. I thought he would have pulled him up halfway but he was obviously giving Ruby a better feel than it looked. Ruby [Walsh] said they went too fast and that our fella needs further. His form was encouraging up to Thurles where he disappointed but we felt we had him right for today and if he comes out of the race well we'll head for Punchestown.
Thomas Mullins
Thought we'd win a winners bumper last year but he didn't. That was a good performance and 2 ¿ miles looks to obvious step now. Over hurdles he could be one of top this year. He should improve from this and we'll take our time with him.
Thomas Mullins
