Ado has done nothing but help me the whole way. I took a bit of the break and was in the army for a while. I started off with Ado when I was only a kid and went back there. He took me back and he's always believed in me. I'm just grateful for the ride. I thought he'd win a couple of weeks ago over a mile-and-a-half as he was working super. He maybe just needed a trip and stayed at it well tonight. It's Nathan's first ride for me. I didn't want too much pressure on him but he gave him a great ride and I was delighted for him. Nathan has just started with me. It's a great start for him and he's a good kid to ride so hopefully there will be a future for him. It's great for Dan Daly (owner). We were nearly going to finish with the horse but he's working well at home.
Adrian McGuinness
I didn't really know how fit he was. He had a break and went back to Dan's. He'll probably go now for a handicap hurdle at either Aintree or Fairyhouse. I'd love to bring him to Aintree as I feel it would really suit him. I'll have to see what Dan wants to do though. He's been a great horse for us. Last year he won good handicap hurdles at Fairyhouse and Killarney and he was second at Punchestown.
Adrian McGuinness
Before Christmas he was going to go for a selling hurdle but now we are going for the Galway Hurdle! . He has improved no end. I don't know whether he had an infection at Christmas time but he was bursting, but it sorted now. He will go for the Galway Hurdle now, and he likes a low weight. He might have one run on the flat before then.
Adrian McGuinness
He burst over hurdles and I sent him back to Dan (Daly, owner, based in Dunshaughlin, County Meath). He ran well here over ten furlongs the last day from a wide draw. He won well there and hopefully he can pick up another one. He'll go back over hurdles too,.
Adrian McGuinness
We bought him at Newmarket last year and he was to go juvenile hurdling in the winter but he had some problems. He's a big immature horse, owned by Dan Daly who had Cockney Lad. He'll go hurdling before the year is out and we're just getting to know him.
Adrian McGuinness
