I was hoping she would win so she'd get a rating that would get her into the 1m6f handicap at Leopardstown. That was the target,. She's improving the whole time and today's job was to get a few pounds. She won over 1m6f at Leopardstown the first day and Gary thought the ten furlongs was a bit short today. We won't get too greedy, we're happy with the three wins this season, but the plan is Leopardstown. I think she would have won the last day but she never gave herself a chance. Even today over this trip I was a bit worried she was too keen down the back.
Thomas Mullins
We took a bit of a chance coming here but she seemed to come out of her last race well,. She was 6lb well in today as she got 11lb for winning at Leopardstown so that swayed me to come here. She overcame a bad draw and Gary was brilliant on her. He's a jockey that has really come of age. He took his time and knew the filly he had underneath him. Hopefully she'll keep progressing. She might come back here in September but there are plenty of fillies race for her.
Thomas Mullins
She had a cracking run first time in Gowran but it all went downhill after that and she lost her confidence completely on soft ground. Kieren Fallon said she didn't go down the hill in Clonmel and it was soft last time out. She's a good ground filly. I think the world of her. Her granny won the guineas and she is a half-sister to Sister Blandina. She's in over a mile-and-a-half in Galway. I have her on the right track now hopefully.
Thomas Mullins
