Formscan By Dan McEvoy - SHADOW PADDY (3) is held in high regard by trainer Eoin McCarthy having contested an Aintree Grade One novice hurdle last season. The son of Shadow Gate justified market support to score comprehensively on his chase debut and should take this contest en route to the Galway Festival. Net Boy is a highly strung individual, but he is also talented, as was displayed in Ballinrobe when he ran away with a beginner's chase. Mark Walsh is an eye-catching booking for this contender%3B however, the possibility of a pace burn-up may ruin his chance. Endless Talking is another who enjoys being at the head of affairs. He is on track for a hat trick, although this step up in grade may prove a stretch too far. %0A

Quotes on Endless Talking (IRE)
He made the running in his point-to-point as well and he's quite a free, forward-going horse. He actually settled lovely in front and had a good look at his hurdles. Jumped well, jumped a bit big everywhere but he had plenty of time to get a good breather into him. Absolutely (could build his confidence) and loves that good ground.

Quotes on Net Boy (FR)
He made an awful mistake, and lost his backend. The second horse was creeping along behind him, he had good point-to-point form, and I thought our goose was cooked but to be fair to the horse he dug in and he ran on gamely,. He had a rating of 115, and solid winter form. I would have been very disappointed if he didn’t collect there today. I’d imagine we’ll probably look at a Galway handicap or a novice race.

Quotes on Shadow Paddy (IRE)
The lads (Complete Package Syndicate) bought scarves with the horse's name printed going to Aintree, but were put back into the pockets quickly! We went over thinking we would genuinely be placed (in the Grade 1 Sefton Hurdle), but he had a little heart issue which, thanks to the vets, is now under control. He has the makings of a nice horse, loves the summer ground and we can dream for the summer. He is a born chaser, Galway (Grade 3 novice chase) is the plan and he is the type of horse we are trying to attract into the yard. The horse is named after Paddy McAuliffe, who had a good Flat horse with me in the past so, when I told him I had this good horse, he put a syndicate together. Paddy is a well-known character, as anyone who is a publican, politician and bookie is, and the syndicate are a great bunch of lads.

Quotes on Cappa Hill (IRE)
He’s improving every day and hopefully there is another day in him. I’m thrilled with the way he jumped. He didn’t miss a beat bar the second last and I’d say it helped him because he would have been in front too soon. He’s only five so we’ll give him another bit of a break before he runs again. He likes a bit of nice ground. My brother Darragh owned a point-to-point winner today at Castletown Geoghegan as well, so it’s been a great day. We have six in training and hopefully they all have the potential to win races.

Quotes on Fast Felix (IRE)
The form of his maiden hurdle win has stood up and his Killarney run was good enough to win this. Tom (O'Connor) is a lovely young fella, he comes in to me one day a week and he is going the right way. Sean and Brenda (Maguire, owners) are from Armagh and are huge supporters of my yard. Over the years they have hugely bought into this festival meeting and this is a huge buzz for them, as they have loads of friends here. We are blessed with our staff at home and they are all very good. You are always leaning on people in this game so it is great to see all the people getting a great kick from a winner from a local yard.
