Formscan - BRILLIANT STAR has not been seen since finishing fourth in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot, but that form suggests that she could take some stopping at this level. Lady Vivian was second in a Listed event at Sandown two starts ago and could prove to be the main threat on that evidence. That said, progressive three-year-old Pierian won at this venue just over a month ago and should not be underestimated.
