Small fields seem to help him and good ground is probably his thing. He did it well today, I probably sent him on plenty early and he kept going well to the line. He fought well today, the cheekpieces probably helped. Delighted to get another win with him. Hopefully he improved a bit (since finishing third in this race last year). He had a couple of good runs on the Flat and he will probably go back to the Flat for the second part of the season. He might go for one of those staying handicaps down the line. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rocky's Diamond, trained by Declan Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a cut on its left hind, and was otherwise post race normal.
