Punchestown Tue, 13th Oct, 2026  Samui It was a lovely opportunity for him and he enjoyed himself. He's an honest old horse and you can run him over any trip. I’m delighted to get his head back in front and we'll run him in all those Grade 2s and 3s.

Fairyhouse Mon, 21st Sep, 2026  Naoi I’m delighted with that, I was meant to run last weekend, but she didn’t get into the race in Chester,. I told Ian and Mick that we’d come here for this race, and Mick was a bit disappointed as he likes to have runners in Listowel, but I said the ground would suit her better here. She likes that quick ground. She didn’t run as well the last time in the Curragh, because it was a little bit softer for her. She won over seven in Leopardstown and it was six the last day as well. She was back to seven today, happy days.

Galway Mon, 7th Sep, 2026  Firebrand magic blinkers, maybe I’ll put a pair on myself! . He deserved that as he was running honest the whole time, but just not getting home. The blinkers made a difference. He’s highly rated so he’s hard to place and that was better than going to Plumpton, or somewhere, for a £1,500 maiden hurdle. It’s been a lucky spot for us, racing west of the Shannon is a great job. There is a novice chase in Sligo next week or he could go to Listowel for a Flat race. He decides himself, but he’s not the worst to have around the place. He was bought for another job (Flat racing), but he’s not doing us any harm and is paying his way.

Navan Sat, 5th Sep, 2026  Flower Forest She had a lovely run the first day in Cork, and ran nice enough in Roscommon where the race didn't really work out for her and she was trapped wide, so we thought she was better than that. She's a filly that has shown ability at home and this race worked out lovely for her. Obviously, first box ticked for her, and we will try and get a bit of black-type for her. She might go to the Denny Cordell (Lavarack Stakes, Group 3) at Gowran. I know it is over nine and a half (furlongs) and go from there. If she doesn't get there, on to the Garnet Stakes (Listed Naas). Obviously, it is a stiff mile here, and it would be an easy nine and a half in Gowran.

Leopardstown Thu, 20th Aug, 2026  Naoi She's a lovely little filly. Very well bred and it's important to get a win for her. She was in a maiden two weeks ago and then I saw he had only given her 66. I want to try and get her over to Chester because Ian Rush is from Chester. There are a few races for her over there on 11th September so we'll aim for there. The whole thing is to get a win in Chester so the pressure is really on now.
