Permission was given for Sense Of Worth (IRE) to go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong after the start involving Revich (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by William Carson and Hawaiian King (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Jack Nicholls.
Carson was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed Revich (IRE) to edge left-handed when insufficiently clear, causing Hawaiian King (IRE) to become short of room on the rail.
An enquiry was held into the riding of Marco Ghiani, the rider of the winner, Scenario (GB), who having dropped his whip, had then appeared to slap his mount behind the saddle with his hand on the run to the line.
Having heard his evidence and viewed recordings of the incident, the Stewards noted Ghiani’s explanation that he had used the reins in order to keep the gelding focused.
The Stewards reminded Ghiani of his responsibilities under rule D(2), that only the whip should be used to encourage the horse.
