Fairyhouse Tue, 5th Nov, 2024  Space Warrior he was schooling well although I didn't think he'd win first time out. There is no plan or anything: you'd love to win a Flat race with him but he had a few goes at that and couldn't. He didn't like the ground in Galway the last day, that's what the young lad (Sam Coen) said. He jumped well today and Danny was very good on him, he's got a lot of confidence there lately and is riding well. He had schooled him at home a few times and was confident with his jumping. Danny said there would be more improvement in him: he said he took another blow today.

Dundalk Wed, 30th Oct, 2024  Glyde Ranger I'm telling the lads one of the days it will fall right for him and that's the way he would win. I didn't think he would be giving them a 10-length start, but it shows the ability he has. He's always a horse with loads of ability, but he just needs a proper pace to be coming at. He's had solid runs and the step up the mile and a-half was going to be a plus for him. He's just an odd horse and things have to go right for him. We'll tip away with him. It is great to get that one for James. Rampage runs here on Friday night and James is on him. He has been with me since during school and he is still apprenticed to me. I gave him his first ride. He's a very talented rider and very balanced. He is getting the best side of a lot of these photo finishes.

Down Royal Mon, 30th Sep, 2024  Alex Belardo I suppose a lot of Belardo's like a bit of cut. I think we deserved it as much as he deserved it because he is a little bit tricky, but he put his best foot forward today. He put his head down when he needed to. Great to get the first win with him and I think there might be more with him next year. He's just a little bit of a baby and he's quite big and tall. Good to get the win this year and I think he is in during the week (at Bellewstown) and we'll see if he goes there. Look forward to him next year again. He ran well in Dundalk as a two-year-old, but we felt on his last run that he had had enough of it in terms of the surface. We always felt that the slow side of good would be better for him. We'll think about it, but he doesn't owe us anything now, so we might look after him.
