Permission was given for both Renoir (GB) and Taritino (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The raceday privilege request for Taritino (IRE), trained by Joe Tickle, to wear a red hood to post was late being submitted.
Tickle was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line when the winner Sunninghill (GB), ridden by Micheal Nolan interfered with Phoenix Risen (GB), placed third, ridden by Chad Bament.
Being a 7lb claiming conditional, Bament was accompanied in the enquiry by his jockey coach.
Nolan was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without timely correction, taking Bament off his intended line, causing his mount to become unbalanced.
Shortly after the last hurdle, Phoenix Risen (GB), placed third, shifted quickly right-handed before being corrected by the rider causing both the winner, Sunninghill (GB) and Renoir (GB), placed fourth, to be moved off their intended line and give a bump to Dirty Den (GB), placed second, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, James Best reported that Dirty Den (GB), placed second, hung left-handed.
