- Stewards Report

Permission was given for Ardisia (IRE) and Filly Foden (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start and Brightling (GB) to go early to post.
Rod Millman had obtained prior permission from the BHA to run Brightling (GB) with no hind shoes.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 2½ furlongs out involving Army Bugler (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Charles Bishop; Nifty (IRE), placed third, ridden by Finley Marsh and Dawn Melody (GB), unplaced, ridden by Gina Mangan.
The interference was found to be accidental as a green- running Army Bugler (IRE) shifted right-handed despite its rider’s best efforts to keep his mount straight, resulting in the colt making contact with Nifty (IRE), which in turn gave a slight bump to Dawn Melody (GB) which was taken marginally off its intended line.
Inside the final half furlong, Filly Foden (IRE), placed fourth, shifted left-handed away from the whip at the same time as the winner, Ardisia (IRE), moved slightly right-handed, causing the rider of Filly Foden (IRE) to momentarily ease, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Finley Marsh reported that Nifty (IRE), placed third, was slowly away and Oliver Searle reported that Brightling (GB), unplaced, ran too freely.
