Leaving the stalls, Gnomon (GB), placed third, jumped left-handed at the same time as Lusaka (IRE), placed fifth, jumped right-handed, briefly crowding both Anzac Day (IRE), unplaced, and KING’S SCHOLAR (IRE), placed fourth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Anzac Day (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling and Elizabeth Gale reported that Lusaka (IRE), placed fifth, was never travelling.
