Permission was given for Symbol of Hope (GB) to go early to post and for Savannah Smiles (IRE) to go early, wear a red hood to post and be mounted in the chute.
Callum Shepherd, the rider of Big Time Rascal (GB), placed third, drawn 1, was slow to remove the blindfold.
Shepherd’s explanation that the blind got stuck on the gelding’s bridle on the first attempt, before removing it at the second attempt, was noted.
An enquiry was held to consider interference three and a half furlongs out involving, Symbol of Hope (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Ethan Jones and Thank The Lord (GB), unplaced, ridden by Luke Morris.
Jones was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed towards the rail causing Morris to take a significant check up against the rails.
An enquiry was held to consider interference after the line involving, Big Time Rascal (GB), placed third, ridden by Callum Shepherd; Savannah Smiles (IRE), placed second, ridden by Callum Hutchinson and the winner, Sisters In The Sky (GB), ridden by Ray Dawson.
The interference was found to be accidental as Sisters In The Sky (GB) shifted slightly left-handed causing Savannah Smiles (IRE) to be taken marginally left-handed resulting in the rider of Big Time Rascal (GB) having to take a precautionary check.
