The Stewards interviewed Mrs John Harrington, trainer of Moonshine Bay, in relation to her request to withdraw her charge from this race owing to ground conditions. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned and also from the Clerk of the Course, Mr. L Wyer. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the withdrawal of Moonshine Bay.
