Dual Derby winner Harzand is given second preference. He is hardy individual and the distance here of a mile and a quarter could very well be his optimum trip. French Derby winner Almanzor has won his last three, but he will need to improve again if he is to take this. Hawkbill won the Coral-Eclipse on his penultimate start, but disappointed last time out at York. He is tried in cheekpieces for the first time now, and he should give a good account of himself. Found filled the runner-up spot in this race twelve months ago and another solid performance can be expected from her, while stable mate Highland Reel is another to consider.
