FormscanBy Michael Graham - SO WONDERFUL didn't perform when a beaten favourite in a Group 3 in Leopardstown at the start of the month, but it may be best to put a line through that effort. She has plenty of solid placed form to advertise her chance of a first victory in this contest. A third to Love in the Moyglare last season was followed by another third place in the Irish 1,000 Guineas last month. She was also far from outclassed in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot which was dominated by Alpine Star. Silk Forest has the same rating of 106 as So Wonderful. She was beaten into third in a Group 2 at the Curragh in June but had previously won a Listed contest by five lengths in Naas, so merits respect. Valeria Messalina has to be of interest. She has only had three starts and has been highly tried after winning her maiden at Naas last September. She was a running on second, beaten a neck, when pitched into a Group 3 at Newmarket in October, and was unplaced off the front when next seen in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.
