FormscanBy Donal Murphy - Steel Wave has been ultimately disappointing since joining Willie Mullins, and it might be worth taking him on here. The son of Craigsteel was a beaten favourite on his second start for Mullins at Punchestown on New Year's Eve, finishing down the field on his two starts since. He makes his debut over fences now, and he is sure to prove popular with punters. For a selection I'll side with BOSCO DI ALCO. The Liz Doyle trained bay was a good fifth on his racecourse debut over fences at Cork in October, with subsequent winners Blast Of Koeman and Logical Song just ahead of him in fourth and third respectively. The son of Dom Alco should come on plenty for that experience, and with the ground likely to be in his favour, he can be expected to go close. Adimelo went down by just three parts of a length when 50/1 on his last start at Thurles, and it'll be interesting to see how he fares here, while others to consider are the 115 rated Voices Of Spring, and course winner The Brassmoulder.
