The Cape Cross gelding soon took his maiden here - over this distance, but he's been lightly raced since. However, there was definite signs of promise when he returned to the fray here last week. Enzani's fourth place effort then, over shorter, behind Wither Hills, was more than encouraging enough to earn him the vote now on venture number one into handicap company. One only has to look at the early betting to realise that Ancient Sands, Pivot Bridge, Sharjah, Song Of Love and Carried are other definites for the short-list. Perhaps the addition of blinkers can be a help to Tiger Moon but that outsider has to compete from out of the handicap.
An extended handicap for four yrs old and upwards (85 = 9st 10lb)Weights - Top weight in the original handicap; shall not be less than 9st 10lbPenalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra; for each race won.
