Excelli has done Aidan Howard proud since joining the Curragh trainer last autumn, and bids for a course and distance hat-trick following two convincing wins last month. However the handicapper certainly hasn’t missed him with a 17lb hike. Poetic Choice comes here off the back of a string of consistent efforts on the Polytrack, while McGuigan has proved a frustrating sort to follow but is dropping down to an attractive mark.
