His most recent three starts have been reasonably encouraging (his second to subsequent winner Line Out in Killarney in July reads well) and this may be a lesser race than when third at Sligo latest. Born To Size, the first offspring of Beyonce, looks a progressive type and built for chasing, should progress further in time. He has solid claims if improving from his Tipperary run and can play a big part today. Canny Tom is another bookmakers’ ‘favourite’, having been beaten ‘jolly’ on seven occasions and is still a maiden from 25 runs. He does possess ability though, comes here fit and well and looks likely to win his maiden hurdle at some stage, but does face another stiff enough task today. Young Turk is long absent and may do better with this run behind him while Theatre Dreams disappointed latest but has solid place claims on her previous best form.
