FormscanBy Donal Murphy - As competitive a contest as we are likely to see all week. The one I'll side with is DANCE EMPEROR. Previously trained in the UK, the son of Holy Roman Emperor is without a win in eleven starts, but has put in some good efforts in defeat. He was third in a valuable handicap at the Curragh on Guineas weekend, with four subsequent winners in behind. He then disappointed at Gowran when sent off favourite, and could only manage fourth on his latest start at Naas. The Jessica Harrington trained bay is however tried in a visor for the first time now, and perhaps this will help him to put his best foot forward. Tashman is also tried in a first time visor, and he is of obvious interest on handicap debut. Trained by Dermot Weld, the son of Excelebration hasn't been seen since last October, but he is sure to well-prepared for this assignment, and is given second preference. Joseph O'Brien saddles Rapture's Delight and Palace Guard, with the former the more likely of the two. Military Decoration (first time blinkers and tongue strap), and Sligo winner Krispen are others for the shortlist.
