FormscanBy Alan Magee - YULONG GOLD FAIRY had Ballot Box about two lengths behind when the pair made their debuts at Naas earlier this month. The daughter of Mount Nelson is well treated by the conditions of this race having been bought for just 8,000 euro at Goffs as a yearling and, given normal improvement, may open her account here. Verhoyen made a bright start at Naas on the opening day of the turf season and, if handling this better ground, should go close. The Michael Grassick-trained colt kept on in a style that suggested this extra furlong should suit, although it is a worry that the form of that race has not been working out well. Fozzy Stack has made a great start this year after taking over the licence from his father Tommy, and is represented here by Commander Grigio. His half-sister Galkina won a Listowel juvenile maiden in good style last September, while Urban Beat and Would Be King are other newcomers to note in the market.
